One of our favourite Irish TV shows of 2018, Derry Girls, has officialy started filming their second season.
The hilarious Channel 4 show, depicting the lives of school girls in Northern Ireland was a huge hit when it debuted earlier this year, with calls for a second series now being answered!
One of the show’s stars Nicola Coughlan, who plays the hilarious Clare on the Lisa McGee directed comedy, took to Twitter to share a shot from the set of production for season two.

Responding to fan questions about the official release date, Nicola revealed that although she didn’t know when it is set to air, the cast ‘probably filmed the funniest stuff that they’ve ever filmed this week.”
Former Girls Aloud star, and real life Derry Girl Nadine Coyle has been rumoured to be involved in the next series, but we have yet to catch a glimpse of the popstar on set.
