Dermot Bannon has revealed that he is voting yes in the upcoming 8th Amendment referendum.
The celebrity architect admitted that he would have considered himself pro-life but feels that because of some cases, a yes vote is need.
Speaking in a video for the Together for Yes campaign, he said:
“I would have always considered myself pro-life and it would really upset me if any of my family and friends ended up having to have an abortion, but if it was the last resort and there was no other options left, I’d like to know we could look after them in this country, and that it’s their choice. That’s why I’m voting yes on the 25th of May”
Many other celebrities international and Irish have shared their thoughts on the upcoming abortion referendum.
Earlier today Brian O’Driscoll revealed why he was voting yes, while actor John Connors explained why he was voting no.
