Denise McCormack has opened up ahead of tonight’s Dancing with the Stars semi-final.
The Red Rock star is preparing to dance her heart out on tonight’s show, to secure her place in next week’s final.
Although it will be hard to match the top marks she received for her Charleston with Ryan McShane last week, she intends to give it everything she’s got tonight.
“The end is in sight and it’s the semi-final and I think everyone is going to dig deep this weekend.” she told the Irish Mirror.
“There are two routines instead of our usual one so there’s lots of pressure to get those right.
“Last week was amazing and Ryan and I were just delighted with the scores but you never know what’s going to happen.”
However, Denise is finding it very tiring combining her gruelling schedule on Red Rock with her dance rehearsals.
“You might do a 40-hour week on Red Rock coupled with rehearsals and it can be exhausting but I’m not complaining.” she said.
“Actors go away and are on set sometimes for months on end – I’m at home in Dublin and I get to see my family so it’s manageable.
“We are like a little family out on the show and it’s going to be very strange when it’s all over.”
Watch Denise strut her stuff on Dancing with the Stars tonight at 6:30pm on RTE One.
