Denise McCormack has revealed that she has landed a new Hollywood movie role.
The former Love/Hate star, who recently made her debut in popular British soap, Eastenders, has now spoken about the next acting job that she will be taking on.
“I have just been cast in a film, it’s an MK1 production who did Young Offenders and MarVista in LA,” the 2017 Dancing With The Stars contestant told RTE.
“It’s a Christmas movie for the American market that is being filmed in Ireland.
“I’ve got a nice role in it. That starts filming in February.”
Denise also revealed how exciting it is for her to be on such an iconic soap as Eastenders, where she plays the feisty Ciara Maguire.
“It’s an amazing set, everything is real. The cobblestones are real, nothing is wonky as some soaps can be. You do have to pinch yourself and think ‘this is great!
“To be honest I watched it back in the day with Dirty Den and Angie and iconic characters like that.
“I don’t have time to be watching television. I had to brush up on it.”
