It’s a day to celebrate for Debbie and Peter Stringer, as today marks their sixth wedding anniversary. The couple both shared a video to social media of their stunning wedding day in 2015.
Debbie said; “Six Years Married. Happy Anniversary to us” and Peter also shared it saying; “Happy Anniversary @debbiestringer_ #6years”
The happy couple wed during an idyllic Spanish ceremony, tying the knot in sunny Malaga surrounded by their closest friends and family.
Debbie stunned in a mermaid style gown, while Peter looked dapper as ever in a dark suit.

Peter’s rugby teammates Paul O’Connell and Donncha O’Callaghan flew to Malaga for the occasion, as well as model Nadia Forde.
Earlier last year, the pair welcomed their second son to the world. Debbie gave birth to little Oscar in March 2020, just as lockdown came into effect.
At the time of his arrival, the delighted mum said, “Our hearts are full and we are feeling incredibly blessed. So happy to be back home with my boys.”
Speaking about giving birth during a pandemic, Debbie opened up about the experience when baby Oscar was five weeks old; “I have been thinking so much about the women going in to have their babies during this surreal time & our experience having Oscar just as the restrictions were being put in place.”
“It was without doubt on our minds and I definitely had moments of anxiety but at the same time I’ve never felt so safe and looked after. The midwives, nurses, doctors, catering employees and everyone working in the CUMH could not have done more to make us feel at ease.”
She finished with a very important message for any expectant mothers; “I hope they have a similar experience to ours & not to let this distressing time take from something so special.”
