Following its finale last Monday, Love Island returned to our screens for the first time last night, with the reunion special. The show caught up with the four final couples, as well other islanders who appeared this season. And of course, it wouldn’t be Love Island without some drama, as they relived some of the show’s heated arguments from this year.
But it seems an argument might have happened at the actually Reunion, being cutdown down for the show.
We saw a brief spat between Casa Amor girls Coco Lodge and Summer Botwe, who got into a heated argument over comments Coco made on the Saving Grace podcast. While chatting with the host Coco confessed her and fellow Islander Josh Le Grove, grew very close after they were eliminated from the villa on the same night.
Saying she felt they could’ve “shagged”, however Summer and Josh had coupled up before he left the villa and reunited after her exit.
The girls addressed the situation on the show, with Summer saying: “I mean I know someone who wishes they would have got with someone.” This led to a tiff between her and Coco.
Coco said: “Schoolgirl Sh*t. No, this is just banter, if you can’t handle a big personality don’t go on reality tv,” before Summer hit back with: “friends don’t say certain things hun but all right okay.”
The girls went back and fourth for a few minutes with host Darren Harriet stepping in and asking Summer about her and Josh’s relationship, distracting from the fight. But according to Dami, it was much more intense, than was shown on telly.
When someone asked him on Twitter, if the scene was cut, Dami confirmed saying: “Nah that was mid compared to what happened”

This lines up with what audience members had been revealing about the reunion, as many had spoken about an argument between the girls, but said producers had to step in to end the spat.
Coco and Summer have since unfollowed each other on Instagram, and Summer also cryptically tweeted: “lemme just …”
