Celebrity dads and their kids flocked to the cinema yesterday to celebrate Father’s Day with a special screening of Minions.
A host of familiar faces and their little tykes made a trip to the Odeon Point village, to attend the première of the much-anticipated animated film, a spin-off of the hugely popular Despicable Me.
Among the tv stars who lined the red carpet was 50 Ways to Kill Your Mammy star Baz Ashmawy attended the flick with his daughter Hannah and partner Tanya.
Xpose’s Peter O’Riordan also attended the star-studded event with his wife Stephanie and son Oliver, and presenter Craig Doyle made an appearance with his three children and wife Doon.
Fair City star Maclean Burke also took his young daughter Baubella to enjoy the film.
The new movie follows Minions Stuart, Kevin and Bob, who are recruited by Scarlet Overkill, a super-villain who, alongside her inventor husband Herb, hatches a plot to take over the world.
Sandra Bullock and Mad Men’s Jon Hamm are among the stellar vocal cast, and the movie hits theaters nationwide on 26th June 2015.
