Earlier today it was rumoured that Irish actor Robert Sheehan could be following in the footsteps of Jeremy McConnell and Jedward by stepping into the Celebrity Big Brother house this summer, but it seems that’s not the case.
The actor who rose to fame due to role on E4’s Misfits, as well as his portrayal of Darren in RTE series, Love/Hate, has since cleared up any confusion surrounding his involvement in the reality tv show.
The Irish star took to social media and let fans know that under no circumstances will he be going into the house.
Robert said, “Just to be clear. I am NOT going Big Brother. It’s a complete fabrication.”
While the Port Laoise native won’t be heading into the house, some other stars who’s names have been thrown into the mix, include Marnie Simpson from Geordie Shore, former Corrie actress Helen Flanagan and US rappers Azealia Banks and Lil’ Kim.
One thing’s for sure, we’re excited to see who’ll make the final cut!
