Aishah Akorede bowed out of Dancing with the Stars in the semi-finals of the dance competition.

After landing herself in her fourth dance-off, it was time to say goodbye to the show.

But she tells VIP Magazine that she’s not ready to say goodbye to the glitz and glamour of television.

She admits that she would love to start presenting.

“I have been putting this out there! Closed mouths don’t get fed. I’ve been saying this to everyone! I really, really want to be a presenter,” she enthuses.

“I feel like I have the qualities to be a presenter. No matter what, I will even do an internship to bring me to that point. I will do everything in my power to become a presenter.”

Speaking about what she will do now her time in the show has ended, she admits that she has plenty of catching up to do. Especially with her Masters in Law that she is currently studying for.

But she cheekily adds: “I have some opportunities in my emails that I haven’t been able to do because of the show. I’d like to catch up on them. And I’m looking for a presenting job as well!”

Ah Aishah, never change.

Dancing with the Stars continues on Sunday at 6:30pm on RTÉ One
