Cillian Murphy and Paul Mescal are two of Ireland’s leading talents.
The Cork man seems to have taken the Kildare native under his wing, as it was revealed that Cillian had previously asked Saoirse Ronan for Paul’s number.
Scottish actor Lauren Lyle recalled a conversation she had with Saoirse’s husband, Jack Lowden, where he said he had dinner with Cillian Murphy.
During this time, Cillian said: “Can you give me Paul Mescal’s number? I just want to congratulate him on everything that’s happening. If he wants any advice or to chat, I’d be right up for it.”

Lauren was speaking on her podcast, She’s A Rec, to another Irish actor, Caitriona Balfe.
It certainly looks like Cillian got Paul’s number as the pair united for a special screening of Hamnet in London this week.
Cillian was in England for the premiere of the latest 28 Years Later film, which came out this week. He took the opportunity to interview Paul at the event for lucky cinema goers.
Paul looked relaxed in a pair of black jeans, a graphic t-shirt and a denim jacket, while Cillian opted for an all-black look.
It comes after Hamnet won big at the Golden Globes on Sunday night. Jessie Buckley won Best Actress for her portrayal of Agnes in the film, as well as Hamnet itself winning Best Drama.
