Kiera Dignam, the daughter of the late Christy Dignam has finally released her new album, Nepo Baby following a tough year for the musician.
The album, which was released today is the first fruit of her first ever record deal with AGR-TV Records, who she signed with last September.
“Not only to honour my dad’s legacy but also to come out of the shadows and show who I am as a musician,” she continued.

“My dad got to hear the rough draft of the album before he passed. I know he’d be really proud seeing everything finally come together.”
Speaking about her lead single from the album, What If You Got It Wrong, Kiera admits that it was a long time in the works.
Adding: “I’ve been on the road with my band for fifteen years now but when it came to making an album, life always got in the way.”
Working on the track alongside Kiera was singer-songwriter Don Mescall, who has writing credits for Backstreet Boys, Boyzone, Cliff Richard, and Rascal Flatts to name but a few as well as Christy Dignam and Aslan.
Like her late father, Kiera has always been a talented musician and has been singing for over 23 years.
In fact, her first single Ben, a cover of the Michael Jackson hit, won praise from Don Black, who wrote the track.
Pretty impressive!
Nepo Baby is available to stream now.
