A host of Irish celebrities attended the Ireland Fund of Monaco Ball last night, where Bono’s wife Ali Hewson received the prestigious Princess Grace Humanitarian Award.
Ali was joined by Adi Roche, a renowned peace campaigner, for their work surrounding children who have been affected by the Chernobyl disaster.
The two have raised more then €100m for Chernobyl Children International, and were presented the award from the U2 frontman and Prince Albert.
Ali opted for a black floor-length ball gown while Adi chose to wear a gold sequin dress.
Other celebrities in attendance included Kathryn Thomas who wore a beautiful silver dress from Don O’Neill, while Clodagh McKenna opted for a simple black number.
Kathryn Thomas shared a picture with Adi Roche on Twitter and said, “With the sunning Adi Roche. What amazing women being honoured this evening along with Ali Hewson.”
Keith Duffy and his wife Lisa were also in attendance, despite having a busy weekend of their own hosting a charity dinner for Irish Autism Action.
Lisa took to social media and said, “In Monaco for Ireland Fund of Monaco Ball. Feeling glam in these beautiful surroundings x.”
Keith also took a moment to share the best selfie of the night:
