Sinead O’Carroll has shared an emotional post to her father Eamonn who has sadly passed away.
She shared a picture of her holding her father’s hand in a hospital bed.
“Today I said goodbye to my beautiful dad,” the B*Witched star wrote with a broken heart emoji.
“You were my person, my safe place, your legacy is your patience, kindness, support, generosity & wisdom. What a beautiful send off with all your family & friends around you. You loved us all so much. We loved you. May you Rest in Peace. My Gentle Man.”

Eamonn sadly passed away on July 10th after a “short illness”.
His death notice on RIP.ie reads: “It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Eamonn O’Carroll, following a short illness during which he was cared for with great kindness by the wonderful staff at St. Vincent’s Private Hospital. A much-loved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend, Eamonn passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family.
“Beloved husband of Barbara and devoted father to Sinéad, Paul, Elaine, and Ailish. Cherished father-in-law to Meabh, Michael, Darren, and Andy. Loving grandfather to Hannah, Samarah, Aoife, Evan, Zain, Ciara, Zoe, and Zara, and Angel babies Bridget and Dillon. Dear brother to Sean and Kieran, and predeceased by his loving sister Bernie.
“Eamonn will be deeply missed and forever remembered by his family, friends, neighbours, and all who had the pleasure of knowing him.”
Sinead’s post was met with condolences in the comments.
Anna Daly wrote: “Oh Sinead I’m so sorry to read this. Deepest sympathies to you and your family.”
