Charlie Bird has shares his joy after legendary singer Bruce Springsteen paid tribute to the journalist during his recent gig in Dublin.
Charlie and his wife Claire were introduced to Bruce back stage before the concert, which a dream come true long time fan Charlie.
Then during his perform Bruce dedicated his hit song Land of Hope and Dreams to the Dubliner.

Sharing his excitement at the shoutout, Charlie took to Twitter, writing: “Last evening I was blown away brought to meet Bruce Springsteen backstage before concert. We had a couple of hugs and I used my voice app to talk to him.”
“Then he dedicated Land of Hope and Dreams to “my friend Charlie Bird” O God Bruce is a great human. My final wish has happened.”
Sharing a snap from their meeting, Charlie wrote: “What a magical moment for me and my beautiful wife Claire. Bruce was so kind and a fantastic human. I played my voice app and I really believe we connected. I told Bruce Land of Hope and dreams was on my bucket list, and he said he would play it for me. And God he did. I love him”
Last month Charlie revealed meeting The Boss was the last thing left on his bucket list. “I still have one thing on my bucket list I would love to meet Bruce Springsteen when he is here,” he wrote.
“I want ‘Land of Hope and Dreams to be played at my funeral. This is mad, but I go to sleep nearly every night playing this song, along with ‘The Parting Glass.”
