Brian Dowling and Arthur Gourounlian spent the weekend doting over their youngest daughter, Blu.
The little one was christened this week in St. Brigid’s Church, Straffan in Kildare, where their eldest daughter Blake was also christened.
Arthur opened up earlier this year about the obstacles they faced to get their youngest daughter christened after a priest.
Brian went on to explain: “He refused to refer to me as her father. He told Arthur I was the guardian, and asked where her mother was.”

However, they were able to put all of that in the past to have a beautiful day surrounded by their family and friends.
Brian’s sister, Aoife, who also acted as their surrogate for both children acted as godmother and their close pal Donal Skehan was Blu’s godfather.
“What a GORGEOUS day for a Christening! Our beautiful baby girl, Blu Amar Rose Dowling Gourounlian, was christened on 05.10.24,” Brian wrote alongside pictures of the baptism.
“It is another day we will cherish, surrounded by all our loved ones.”

He shared snaps with Blu’s godparents Aoife and Donal with the caption: “A round of applause, please, for our Godmother @effidy_dowling_ & our Godfather @donalskehan.
“These two will rock it as Godparents to our @gourounlian BEAUTIFUL daughter, Blu Amar Rose. Blu is so lucky to have both of you guiding her, advising her & of course, spoiling her for the rest of her life. So start your engines & let the Godparent games begin.”
