Brendan O’ Carroll’s daughter Fiona has revealed that her dad is re-writing the popular Mrs Brown’s Boys Christmas special following the departure of show favourite Rory Cowan.
Rory announced his decision to leave the show after working with Brendan for 26 years last month.
The announcement left a lot of fans wondering how this would affect the show, and Fiona O’Carroll has now given us a clearer idea of what will be happening.
“We have lost a member of the cast but he’ll always be family as he’s with us for so long,” Fiona told independent.ie.
“I’ve no idea what’s going to happen but I know dad’s in Florida off writing at the moment so who knows what he’s going to come up with? He’s had to rewrite the Christmas specials so we don’t know what he’s going to come up with.
“I’m sure we can expect lot of twists and turns.”
