Brendan Courtney has shared the sad news that his mother Nuala had sadly passed away.
He confirmed the news saying that his mother passed away on Tuesday morning.
The presenter posted a picture of Nuala on social media.
He wrote: “It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of our beautiful Mam Nuala Courtney – she passed peacefully at 7:20 this morning. Information on RIP. Ie later today.”

Brendan was met with condolences in the comment section of his Instagram post.
“Brendan I’m so very sorry, what an absolutely fabulous lady – it was so easy to see where you get your glamour and pure class from xx,” James Patrice wrote.
