Bonnie Ryan and her long time love John have officially tied the knot.
The pair said “I do” in a romantic Italian ceremony surrounded by friends and family, in the same chapel which Bonnie’s sister Lottie married in five years ago.
For their big day Bonnie donned a stunning off-the-shoulder mermaid gown, with a lace bodice, and statement balloon sleeves. She completed her look with a dramatic veil, featuring delicate lace details at the edge. While John opted for a sleek black suit.
Sharing a photo from their special day, the bride and groom posed on a classic Italian moped while Bonnie obscured John’s face with her bouquet.

This is the couple second celebration as they legally married back in March during a Dublin courthouse ceremony. However, it was a much more intimate affair, with this Italian ceremony serving as their official wedding celebration.
We caught up with Bonnie for our wedding supplement, Vows earlier this year and she spoke to us about the big day, her gorgeous dress, family excitement and how her late dad Gerry will be remembered during the ceremony.
Chatting to us about the dress she said; “Before trying anything on, I was browsing Pinterest and one dress stood out so I found a place in Ireland that stocked it. It was the first dress I tried on, I went out to show my mom and Lottie and they immediately started crying… I knew it was the one.”
“When I put it on, I felt really special and comfortable. I tried on about six others that day because I wanted to be 100 percent sure, but nothing felt the way my one did. We customised it a little bit and Paula in Tamem Michael has been a dream to work with. I’m so excited to wear it.”
Speaking about what she’s most looking forward to on her big day she said; “I’m very excited to just walk down the aisle and see John for the first time. I think that’s going to be so special. We’ve been on such a journey together.”
“We’ve been together since we were so young, he’s my best friend and he’s been there for me through everything in my life. I feel like we might just start laughing when we see each other. I work in weddings doing bridal makeup and the mornings are so much fun so I’m excited to have that experience with my girls, to drink champagne and have some music playing while we get glam.”
Continuing she added; “I really enjoy doing my own makeup so I feel on the morning it’ll be almost therapeutic to do my own glam. It relaxes me. My hairdresser, Danielle Whelan from The Space, will doing everyone’s hair though and she’s fab. There’ll be lots of special moments throughout the day, but they’re the two I’m particularly looking forward to. “
A massive congratulations to the newlyweds!
