Bláthnaid Treacy is counting down the weeks until she welcomes her baby girl.
Speaking to VIP Magazine, she is absolutely beaming as she speaks about becoming a family of three.
She and her husband, Charlie Moon, have known each other since they were teenagers. But she admits they are “absolutely” ready to go from a duo to a trio.
“Charlie is going to be the most amazing dad. He’s just so caring and nurturing. He’s such a loving person,” she tells us.
“He wanted a girl, he kept saying we were having a daughter and he was absolutely right. I can’t wait to see him stepping into the role, I feel like I’m going to fall in love with him all over again.”
“He’s been so good so far and he’s had to put up with a few meltdowns – the hormone monster has crept up here and there – but he’s just been great. I also can’t wait to become a mum.”
She continued: “We’ve been together since we were 19. We broke up for a couple of years in the middle of all that, but we’ve gone through everything together, all stages of life.
“It’s been so special and the fact we can do this, and become parents together, is magic. We’re in full nesting mode and it’s all coming together. Our lives have changed.”
