Dublin GAA player Bernard Brogan and his love Keira Doyle are moving into their first new home as husband and wife.
The sports star said ‘I do’ to Keira on the 30th of December at Mount Juliet Estate in Kilkenny. They enjoyed a lavish honeymoon in South Africa and are now settling into married life, which is moving “a million miles an hour.”
Speaking to Independent.ie Bernard said, “Married life is good, we’re still hanging in there anyway which is positive.
“We’d a big shindig down in Kilkenny, 250 of us, family and friends, football partners and all sorts. We’d a great few days. Then we went away in January to South Africa for a couple of weeks so that was amazing.
“I’m just enjoying life. We’re newly married and enjoying ourselves. We’re busy moving into a new house, we’re getting works done there. It’s a million miles an hour. There’s training and work and all of that, so we’re just living in the present, as they say.”
When asked about whether having babies was on the cards for the couple, the Dubliner said that they are just living in the moment and enjoying their life. Meanwhile, Bernard’s brother Alan is preparing to become a dad for the third time.
“It’s like anything, it’s the natural course of things. When you’re going out with someone, they’re pressuring you to get married, then they’re pressuring you to have kids and all of that. No one’s ever happy to stay in the moment and enjoy it,” he said.
