Ben Foden has joked about the reaction he got from having a profile on a dating app.
A month after the news emerged that they were splitting up, Ben was spotted using dating site bumble.
On his profile, he said: “Never believe in making plans, let’s just see what happens and how things go.”
He added: “If you’re uptight and bossy I’m not for you. Getting divorced. 2 little people who are my world.”
Fans of Una Healy outraged by the news that Ben moved on so quickly after he was caught cheating on his wife of six years just a month before.
However, Ben claims they set up the profile together in a lighthearted chat about dating again.
“I picked up Una from the airport a couple of weeks after we’d first been here, and we were sort of joking about dating. So I loaded up Bumble, and we did the profile together, joking around. And then I realised something dodgy was going on with it and the next day it was all over the paper,” he told the Guardian.
This week, in a Q&A on Instagram one fan asked if he was on any dating apps, to which he replied, “Nope, learnt the hard way about that.”
Another follower asked if he was single, to which he cryptically replied that he was watching Game of Thrones alone.
