
The 27th Annual Critics’ Choice Awards took place in Los Angeles at the weekend and we saw some impressive wins from Kenneth Branagh’s Belfast.
The film, which stars Jamie Dornan and Caitriona Balfe picked up the award for best acting ensemble, as well as best original screenplay, which went to Kenneth Branagh.
Another great win went to Irish actor Jude Hill, who won best young actor for his role in Belfast. How exciting!
It seems the film is a hit with all of the critics with it even being nominated for an incredible seven Oscars. The prestigious awards show takes place on March 28th.

Set in the 1960’s, the film follows a young boy and his family in Belfast navigating the turmoil that has taken over the city and deciding whether to wait it out or look for a fresh start.
