Over the summer, it was revealed that Barry Keoghan and Brian Gleeson would be joining one of Netflix’s biggest shows.
Barry, of course, has already had a very busy 2023. Between picking up a BAFTA and being nominated for an Oscar, he’s been living the dream.
Meanwhile, Brian has been following in his brother Domhnall’s footsteps and joining the Star Wars universe.
Now, they will be joining the Netflix family in the final season of Top Boy.
The first look trailer dropped this week and it looks pretty intense. Well, with just one more season to wrap everything up, we’re not surprised.
While the trailer doesn’t show, Barry or Brian it still has us hooked.
The lads will join the series as new characters Jonny and Tadgh, so it looks like they will be sticking to their Irish roots at least!
Despite running in the same circles, Barry and Brian have neither appeared in a film or series together before. Of course, Barry will appear alongside Brian’s dad, Brendan in The Banshees Of Inisherin.
And that’s not the only Irish connection as the series has been written by Northern Irish creator Ronan Bennett.
If you haven’t had a chance to watch any of the series well you’ll have plenty of time as season three doesn’t drop until September.
