“Welcomed into the world with the very best care. From the moment we arrived at the weekend we were wrapped in the most extraordinary care at University Hospital Galway,” she began.
“Every time we go through this journey, it only deepens our belief… we are so lucky. The care, compassion and expertise within our maternity services is truly world class.
“Over the past nine months, we were guided so brilliantly by Dr. Una Conway and her wonderful assistant Martha, a constant source of reassurance, calm and confidence every step of the way.”

She went on to say: “When it came time to meet our little girl, we were held by the most incredible team. Our midwife Edel and her colleagues in the delivery suite were simply exceptional. We were so well looked after. Jackie, your gentle support meant so much in those early hours.
“And then onto the postnatal ward where the care never faltered. Familiar, friendly faces like the amazing Carmel Connelly, Orla, the physio team, the lactation consultants, and even the lovely ladies who nourished us with warm meals…every single person played a part in making those first days so supported and special.
“Thank you for bringing our beautiful baby Aoileann safely into our arms. We are so incredibly grateful. Feeling very, very blessed.”
So lovely!
