Aoibhin Garrihy has shared her utter joy after becoming an aunt last month.
Her sister Ailbhe and husband Ruaidri Hehir welcomed their first child, a beautiful baby boy, to the world at the end of August.
Gushing over the youngster, proud aunt Aoibhin revealed it’s brilliant to have something to celebrate, amid the on-going Coronavirus pandemic.
“Baby Seán is the newest addition and the apple of our eye already,” she told VIP Magazine.
“We’ve waited a while to have a little boy in the family so Seán is much anticipated and already so loved.”
Aoibhin, who has two children of her own, admits it’s great watching her sister bond with the little lad.
“Ailbhe is amazing and is a total natural. I’ve already been enjoying some ‘in’ mom jokes with her and it’s so great to have a fellow comrade!”
