Anna Geary’s life changed forever when she welcomed her first child – her little boy, Ronan.
She reflected on a year of motherhood this week as she celebrated Ronan turning one.
The little one had a fab birthday party at home with the sun absolutely splitting the rocks.

Anna shared pictures of the party as well as snaps of Ronan over the last 12 months.
“01.08.24. 365 days of love, laughter and memories,” she captioned the post.
“I remember this time last year, not having a clue what I was doing. Bursting with love. Half terrified of changing nappies, bathing you, soothing you… winging it all the way, and still kinda winging it.
“Today is a day to be proud of just how far we’ve come @kev_sexton. We survived the 1st year. Here we go for round 2.”
She concluded: “Ronan, it’s a privilege to watch you grow… a little guy with tonnes of energy and a huge heart. You love to explore, to laugh and to snack.”

How sweet!
We caught up with Anna after Ronan’s birth when we asked if life had been turned upside down.
“Life changing?! Life turned upside down; life turned back to front; life turned inside out! And the sleep deprivation – woah! I am currently operating at a capacity that feels like I’m back in my early 20s after going out on a series of nights out over Christmas! But it was grand back then because you knew you could catch up on the sleep after Christmas whereas now, no such luck!” she laughed.
But it looks like she has settled into motherhood.
