Angela Scanlon was left speechless when her jewellery range, frkl., was showcased in Brown Thomas less than a year after it was launched.

The brand, which is completely customisable, launched in October of 2021. Now, it is part of the CREATE pop-up in the flagship store.

Now in it’s 12th year, CREATE is an annual celebration to showcase 27 up and coming designers across the country. And this year, Angela is one of the lucky few.

Taking to Instagram, she shared some shots of her collection in the shop, writing, “Another milestone for @myfrkl today-this babe (and the one in the buggy!) is growing FAST & it’s so exciting!

“I cannot tell you how cool it was to walk into @officialbrownthomas (the place where I started styling, where I presented shows for years, where I visited!) and see frkl. sitting alongside the most brilliant emerging designers-familiar faces & new friends!!”

She continued, “It was a proper punch (not pinch) me moment! Watch this space gang, we have got PLANS. Finally home after an airport dash, a lost car seat & a taxi melt down. The old “it takes a village” motto was hitting hard today. x”

Also being showcased in the annual event is Sorcha O’Raghallaigh, a Birr-born designer, whose couture has been worn by some of the world’s biggest stars including Beyoncé and Lady Gaga.
