Angela Scanlon will be showcasing her dance moves over the next few months as she takes to the Strictly floor.
Yes, the TV host confirmed that she would be taking part in the dance competition when it returns to our screens in September.
And now it looks like she is the favourite to win.
According to William Hill Betting she has 3/1 odds to win.
The Irish TV presenter was as big as 8/1 a few days ago, but significant support has seen her backed into the 3/1 favourite.
She now heads the betting from Bobby Brazier at 4/1, with Layton Williams at 9/2 and Nigel Harman at 6/1.
William Hill spokesperson, Lee Phelps, said: “We’ve seen some very interesting and significant money for Angela Scanlon to win this year’s Strictly.
“She was an 8/1 chance, but a flurry of bets in the past 24 hours have seen us cut her to become the 3/1 favourite ahead of Bobby Brazier at 4/1.”
We can’t wait to see her take the stage!
The Meath native was announced as one of the first six contestants on BBC Radio Two.
Speaking on their breakfast radio show, Angela said: “I’m terrified, I’m excited and I have so many questions. Will they make me tan? How itchy are sequins?! Do they do flesh coloured sports bras? Well – there’s only one way to find out, right!?”
She went on to say: “It’s kind of been in the ether for a number of years.”
“We’ve been close and then, truthfully we wanted to have another baby. We were trying to have a baby, I was then pregnant, then I had a very small child. And now, it just felt right this year.
“I believe in feelings and timing, and all of those sort of things.”
