The time has finally come.
Yes, this weekend we will see our gal Angela Scanlon strutting it on the iconic Strictly Come Dancing ballroom floor and we couldn’t be more excited about it!
After a lot of blood sweat and tears in rehearsals, the contestants will now compete against one another as they embark on their first dance with their pro partners.
Taking to Instagram to share her excitement, Angela wrote: “Who knew Strictly was like SAS Bootcamp but for fab.
“Week one done. Tomorrow we rehearse in the actual studio and Saturday we are LIVE with our first-ever dance,”
Adding: “We hope you’ll love it.”
“We’ve had such a brilliant time (blisters aside) dancing it.
“Carlos so glad to have you, you mad glorious egg.”
Not to add to the pressure but Angela has already been named a new early favourite to win Strictly Come Dancing 2023.
Yes, the presenter’s odds of winning the coveted Glitterball trophy have been slashed from 9/2 to 7/2 by bookies Boyle Sports.
Chatting to the MailOnline she said: “Most people, you grow up in Ireland, you do Irish dancing. But I’ve never done ballroom, I’ve certainly never done a rumba or any of this style of dancing.”
Either way, we have high hopes for Angela!
