The blogging community has taken over the Irish social media scene in recent times, and now the online writers are entering the modelling world. Andrea Roche announced this afternoon that she has signed popular blogger Rosie Connolly, becoming the first agency in Ireland to make such a move.
Taking to her Instagram earlier, the agent revealed that she had taken a shine to the creator of Hearts, Heels and Handbags – which gets 50,000 hits per week.
“Bloggers are so powerful these days in the world of fashion and beauty so we have decided to be the first model agency in Ireland to represent some of Irelands leading bloggers,” Andrea wrote.
“Meet the first to be signed by us the stunningly beautiful @rosieconxxxRosie has 55K instagram followers and her blog gets 50 k hits a week. Welcome @rosieconxxx we are excited to work with you XX Andrea.”
Obviously ecstatic by the news, Rosie posted to her own account: a meme that simply states ‘the future is exciting’.

The successful young blogger, a mum of one, has gathered her huge following from her posts about how she juggles home and work life. She attracts 700 new followers a week on Instagram, and currently has almost 60,000 people who tune into her updates on her profile.
She joins the books alongside Roz Purcell, Rosanna Davison, Georgia Salpa, Pippa O’Connor, Aoife Walsh, Holly Carpenter and many more top Irish models.
