The end of an era’s coming as one of Dublin’s most iconic nightclub, Lillie’s Bordello is set to close.

The curtain will fall on the Grafton Street venue on January 19th.

Lillie’s was a popular venue for Irish celebs and VIPs who jetted into Dublin for gigs and events.

Over the years the dancefloor has been graced by stars such as Rihanna, Julia Roberts, David Hasselhoff, Mick Jagger and Enrique Iglesias, along with home-grown celebrities like Niall Horan, The Cranberries, Laura Whitmore and Cillian Murphy with Bono even celebrating his 46th birthday there.

With over a month to go before the club shuts, there’s still time to get nostalgic and relive some wild nights out.

“Lillie’s would love you to join them for their last hurrah. The red walls are draped with nostalgia and now is your opportunity to relive some your favourite nights out. And as part of the trip down memory lane we would love to hear from you, please share some of your photos from bygone years on our Facebook page,” a statement from The Porterhouse group said.

Although it’s the end of Lillie’s as you know it, the Porterhouse Group has exciting plans coming down the tracks, all will be revealed in Spring.
