With all the attention Amy Huberman’s family dog, Phoebe has been getting as of late we can’t help but get invested in this storyline!
After becoming all too familiar with the beloved pooch following a hilarious mix-up thanks to Amy’s husband, Brian O’Driscoll, you could say the pet has become quite the internet sensation.
Yes, the famous pup was the talk of the town last month when the former Irish Rugby player mistakenly took the ‘wrong dog’ home from the groomers.
Sharing the story to Instagram, Amy explained: “Thought perhaps she had needed a serious groom and had taken off the darker fluff. Off they skipped. I cannot! He may defo need an oil top-up on the laser eye surgery.”

Adding: “I hope that other lovely dog enjoyed her 48 seconds in our gaff before going home”.
Following the shortly-lived switch, Amy has now chosen to honour Phoebe by framing a regal portrait of the dog in their family home.
Taking to Instagram, Amy shared the adorable portrait of the pup in a gilded gold frame, writing: “I mean it was the least we could do. Lady Phoebe Mary Eithne Áine the FIRST.”
Fans of the couple were quick to share their thoughts in the comments with one cheekily writing: “Did Brian ask who your wan in the painting is?”
While another wrote: “Hung in Brian’s office to ensure maximum memory retention.”
Speaking on Off The Ball, Brian opened open about his unfortunate mishap joking: “‘I will not be remembered as the guy who lifted the Grand Slam for the first time in 61 years. I will not be that guy.’
Explaining how he had his concerns but that he was distracted when the groomers brought the dog out to him.
“‘An easy mistake, it could happen to anyone,” he added.
Well, we absolutely adore the new portrait Phoebe!
