Amy Huberman and Deirdre O’Kane were all smiles as they joined Patrick Kielty on Friday night’s Late Late Show — but what the audience didn’t know was they’d only just made it in the nick of time!
Yes, the pair were there to promote their new movie, Fran the Man, and what it was like to join talented Irish comics on Last One Laughing.
However, that was after they had a chance to catch their breath, of course.
Taking to Instagram, Amy revealed just how tight the timing was, sharing that Deirdre had legged it off stage right after her stand-up show to make it on time.

“Scared of being late late on The Late Late,” Amy shared.
“Deirdre O’Kane running off stage after finishing her show, making it to RTÉ during the ad break, us legging it down the corridor fresh from the N11, singing up, running down the corridor and then literally running straight out to chat to Paddy as soon as ad break finishes…
“Will live happily in my memories for all time. Go Fran The Man movie!”
Previously speaking to VIP Magazine, Amy opened up about her relationship with Deirdre.

“I’ve been lucky enough to know Dee for years now. We would bounce a lot of stuff off each other; we even have plans to do something together ourselves, we’re working away on that at the moment,” she told us.
“It’s kind of weird to say that you’re a fan of your friend, but I am! I was a fan before I knew her; I just have so much respect for her.
“She’s one of our most talented comedians,” she added.
“She’s just magic and she’s also a real cheerleader, a really good person to be around, and you know there’ll be messing! She also has a great brain. Deirdre O’Kane for President!”
