Amy Huberman and Deirdre O’Kane are teaming up and we couldn’t be more excited.
Yes, the two gas women will be joining forces in the upcoming flick – Fran the Man.
The Irish film has a stacked cast of some of the country’s brightest stars.
If the name sounds familiar then you may recall the TV show, Fran that aired on TV3 and Setanta Sports between 2009 to 2011.
Now the cult classic will become a film.
Darragh Humphreys reprises his role from the series as Fran Costello.
And he is surrounded by an exciting new ensemble cast including Ardal O’Hanlon, Amy Huberman, Risteard Cooper, Toni O’Rourke and Deirdre O’Kane.
So what is the mockumentary about?
Well the synopsis reads: “When non-league St Peter’s Celtic are drawn to play titans Shamrock Rovers in the first round of the FAI Cup, assistant manager Fran Costello hopes his team will pull off one of the greatest shocks in football history. But it isn’t long before the sh*t really hits the Fran…”
The movie is currently being filmed in Dublin and we can’t wait to see the finished product.
