The Irish have been dominating this award season, with Jessie Buckley picking up every award she was nominated for.
And hopefully the winning streak continues as the TV BAFTA nominations have come out.
So who will be flying the flag for Ireland this time around?
Well, it’s no surprise that Graham Norton has been nominated in the Entertainment category for The Graham Norton Show.

He’ll go up against Michael McIntyre’s Big Show, Would I Lie To You? and Last One Laughing.
Philippa Dunne was nominated for Actress in a Comedy for Amandaland.
The comedy series has received four nominations for its first season, so fingers crossed it comes home to Ireland!
Trespasses, the TV series set in Belfast during The Troubles, is nominated for Best Limited Drama. Meanwhile, Belfast-set police drama Blue Lights is nominated in the Drama Series category.

And it’s not just on-screen talent that is being nominated.
Director Seamus Malone is nominated for Shaun the Sheep and Dublin director Diarmuid Goggins is also among the nominees, with Code of Silence shortlisted in the Drama Series category.
Editor Úna Ní Dhonghaíle is nominated this year for Prisoner 951.
The 2026 BAFTA Television Awards will be held on Sunday, 26th April. Fingers crossed for our Irish talent!
