Brendan O’Carroll’s new chat show All Round To Mrs. Brown’s has already proven itself to be a huge success, after just one episode!
Although the programme came under fire from some critics, it brought in huge ratings for RTE. Over 470,000 viewers tuned in to see the debut episode of the series, which aired last Saturday night. It was also simultaneously aired on BBC.
Last weekend’s show featured Baywatch babe Pamela Anderson, You’re Beautiful singer James Blunt and tennis pro Andy Murray’s mum Judy.
The chat show featured other segments including Louis Walsh giving a guided tour of wax museum Madame Tussauds, and an audience member was given the ‘Mammy of the Week’ award, after she was nominated by her daughter.
RTE also benefited from the show’s high ratings, as many viewers continued to watch when The Ray D’Arcy Show began at the later time of 10:25pm.
You can catch next week’s All Round To Mrs. Brown’s this Saturday at 9:15PM.
