Irish model Alannah Beirne has opened up about falling victim to a money scam that cost her dearly.
The beauty, who was formerly a contestant on Britain and Ireland’s Next Top Model, has now revealed the details of the scam, that led her to lose money following a successful business project at US music festival Coachella.
“I was going over (to Dubai) for business and I had everything planned, all my designs and everything made up and unfortunately it fell through,” she told the Irish Sun on Sunday.
“So then he just ran off with a lot of money… which was really hard. It was all a bit of a shock, to be honest.”
Since then, the 25-year-old has forged a new life for herself in Dubai, working in real estate while continuing her successful modelling career.
The stunning model recently split from long term boyfriend Paddy Davis, following her stint on Dancing With The Stars Ireland last year.
The former Dancing With The Stars Ireland contestant and the entrepeneur are now said to be remaining good friends.
“They broke up a couple of weeks ago,” RSVP reports.
“Paddy is now running his marketing company alone because his brother is moving to New York, so there is a lot of pressure on him and he is working long hours.
“It was a mutual decision and they are still friends. There is nothing sour or vicious.
“They are giving each other space,”
