All Ireland winner Alan Brogan is preparing to welcome his third child this month with wife Lydia. The couple are already parents to sons Jamie and Harry, and they feel that their new addition may also be male.
The former Dublin GAA player revealed that they haven’t found out the sex of their unborn child, but because of their genetics the pair feel that they may be adding another boy to their brood.
Speaking to the Independent.ie Alan said, “She’s due at the end of March. She’s good, tired as it gets closer to D-Day. It’s not easy being a woman sometimes, as we all know.
“We’ve got the two boys, so we’ve obviously been there already. We didn’t find out the gender. We thought about it, but you don’t get too many surprises these days, so we said we’d hold off.”
“There are a lot of boys on her side and the three brothers on my side, so there’s a lot of weight in the male gene. Once the baby is happy and healthy, that’s all that matters.”
