Aisling Bea is taking over the world. There’s no doubt about it!
From This Way Up to Living With Yourself to Home Sweet Home Alone, Aisling has been going from strength to strength.
And she’s just landed her next role alongside two famous faces.
She will star in a brand new comedy called And Mrs, alongside Tom Hanks’ son, Colin Hanks and late Star Wars alum Carrie Fisher’s daughter, Billie Lourde.
According to Variety, the series focuses on Aisling’s character Gemma, a woman living in London , whose American fiancé Nathan played by Colin dies shortly before their wedding day.
After some encouragement from her sister-in-law, Audrey, played by Billie, she decides to go ahead and marry him anyway. Obviously, that means she has a whole new set of obstacles, she has to overcome public opinion, the law of the land and even her own family’s objections.
Aisling shared the news on Instagram, writing: “Ever so excited. We started filming this today with the most amazing, fun, talented cast, crew and loveable director @danreiso at the helm.”
