Ailbhe Garrihy talks hen party plans for sister Doireann

Wedding preparations are well underway for Doireann Garrihy and her partner fiancé, Mark Mehigan.

Having recently picked up their marriage registration form, the couple are preparing to walk down the aisle later this year.

However, before that, some might argue that the most important part of preparing for a wedding is the Hen party.

And Doireann is fishing for any information she can get!

Speaking to her sister Ailbhe on the Doireann and Friends Podcast, Doireann begged her sister to fill her in on the plans.

To which Ailbhe teased: “We’re going abroad. Twelve of your nearest and dearest.”

Adding: “They’re all in. They were straight back. We are there.”

Doireann was naturally thrilled at the prospect, replying. “I can’t even fathom what it will be like in the airport.

“I’m going to be levitating with excitement,” she laughed.

In terms of the activities, Ailbhe revealed that they were going to pair it back a bit since Doireann already lives quite the glam life.

“You host Dancing with the Stars, it doesn’t get more glam than that,” Ailbhe mentioned, with Doireann responding: “Keep it simple!”

Safe to say, we can’t wait to see what they get up to!
