Travelling can be stress-inducing at the best of times. But with two tots it can be even worse.
Ailbhe Garrihy headed off with her two tots this week and shared the reality of getting on a plane with a toddler and a baby.
In fact, she shared some very helpful tips for parents planning their own excursions.
Ailbhe and her husband, Ruaidhrí jetted off to Spain with their two-year-old Seán and four-month-old Fionn for the first time as a family of four.
Sharing a picture of the boys on the plane, Ailbhe admitted: “Fionn was the easy one!”
“He just fed and slept. I had Calpol with me in case their ears got sore. I had some new toys for Seán, snacks & Netflix. A flight with kids will never be relaxing… you just gotta get through it.”
Very fair, Ailbhe!
But it was all worth it in the end as Ailbhe also shared pictures of her sons enjoying their time in the popular holiday spot.
She also explained that they are there with Ailbhe’s parents, admitting that an extra set of hands makes life much easier when it comes to wrangling two tots.
“Just to say we’re here with my parents which obviously makes things so much easier as we can share the load… feeling lucky to have them,” she told her followers.
Of course, it is the perfect spot for the family as there is plenty of walks to be had up the Marbella boardwalk.
