Single ladies everywhere rejoice! Aidan Turner has revealed what turns him on the most, and it’s totally achievable!
The Poldark star revealed to the Irish Sun that dating someone who has no idea what he does for a living turns him on, and he added that dating a person in the same industry can become quite boring.
The 33-year-old ended his previous relationship with actress Sarah Greene last November, and is now on the market for a girl that’s not in the celeb world.
“I’ve been in that world before where you’re with someone who does the same thing and it can be quite difficult sometimes because that’s all you are.
“You go home and talk about casting directors, the press and the next job and it becomes quite dull.
“There’s nothing like going out with someone who just doesn’t care about what you’re doing, let alone has anything to say about it. That’s what turns me on,” he said.
Dublin born Aidan also told the newspaper that while he believes in love, he’s not sold on the idea of soulmates.
“I don’t know if I believe so much in the whole soulmate thing. I think you can find someone you love your entire life and still feel that love decades later.
“But I also think it can be unhealthy to rely on someone so much. What if you have a soulmate and then you lose them or what if you have them and for whatever reason they want to lose you?
“I’m not saying I’m not romantic, but in my opinion, I think the whole soulmate thing can be a bit of an empty vessel,” he said.
As if we didn’t love him enough already, the 33-year-old also admitted that while being a celebrity is fun, he enjoys his work the most, and not the celebrity lifestyle. He’s keeping his feet firmly planted on the ground.
“Days like that are fun, but I thank God they are few and far between. I like to keep my feet on the ground,” he said.
