Aidan O’Mahony has gushed about his beautiful daughter Lucia. The Dancing With The Stars champion became a dad for the first time six weeks ago, when his wife Denise gave birth to an adorable baby girl.
Kerry native Aidan returned home to his two girls as soon as the competition ended, and Lucia has been causing sleepless nights ever since! Despite this however, the doting dad is loving it all and Lucia is doing great.
Speaking exclusively to VIP Magazine he said, “I went home on the Monday and that weekend she was up until quarter to six in the morning. She’s still up until quarter to six in the morning, which is great! She hasn’t broken that routine anyway. But she’s great, she sleeps during the day and is awake during the night but she’s very healthy.”
Aidan also revealed that Lucia is looking more and more like his stunning wife Denise every day, much to the delight of the former GAA player. He’s also already looking to the future, telling us that he will most definitely be a protective parent.
“She’s six weeks old, just over six weeks and she’s looking more like her mom everyday, which is a big bonus. I think when babies are born they say they start off looking like their dad and I was saying ‘stay like me now for another while,’ but no she’s after morphing into her her mum now which is great because her mum has the looks in the relationship,” he said.
“I will (be a protective dad), I’ve a shot gun bought already- I’m just joking! I obviously will, being a gard I’m protective, but if you’re too protective they’ll go wild.”
