Adrian Dunbar dedicates GQ award to his mother after she came through Covid battle

Adrian Dunbar has dedicated his recent award win to his mother, who came through her battle with Covid-19. The Irish actor was in London attending The GQ Men of the Year Awards and was honoured with the GQ Actor of the Year award.

Taking to the stage he spoke emotionally about his mother, who had been battling Covid-19.

The star said; “I’d really like to dedicate this award to my 89-year-old mother Pauline, who beat Covid last week.”

Adrian won the gong for his role of Ted Hastings in the much loved show, Line of Duty.

As well as paying tribute to his mother the Fermanagh native also thanked his colleagues and “best friends” from the show. There to present his award was his co-star Vicky McClure, who plays Kate Flemming in the hit show.

Congratulations to Adrian on his win!
