6 places to visit now that indoor dining is back

From today more restrictions have been lifted and now those who are fully vaccinated or who have recovered from Covid-19 in the past six months can dine indoors and ‘wet pubs’ can open! Finally!

We’ve been lucky with the weather the last while, and outdoor dining actually isn’t bad, but there are some places where it’s just not the same, especially if there’s rain forecast.

If you fall under these categories and are ready to get back into the warmth and atmosphere of the inside of a pub or restaurant we have got you covered, and have rounded up some gorge places to go for the big occasion, here’s to more normality.

Dublin

The Ivy

Okay first on our list in the capital is The Ivy Dawson Street. The vibes are immaculate always and it’s just not the same when you’re outside unfortunately, let’s get back in to the boujee decor and instagram worthy backgrounds, oh and the food of course!

Dela Restaurant

Dela is back open for business and if you’re in Galway it is the perfect brunch destination, who else has missed a good indoor brunch?! Their fresh ingredients make it even more worth the wait, happy brunching!

Kilkenny:

Ristorante Rinuccini

This Michelin star restaurant will be back open and your Italian needs in Kilkenny will be met! It’s family owned and run and multi award-winning since 1989, if that doesn’t entice you, what will?! Enjoy this little taste of Italy while you’re waiting for the real thing.

Limerick:

Hook & Ladder

This place is ideal for lunch and brunch vibes, if you look at their instagram you’ll want to go ASAP. They have multiple cafe’s all over Ireland and even have their own cookery school if you love the food so much you want to improve your skills!

Cork:

Market Lane

With the vibes of a cosy, yet classy pub and the food of a must-visit restaurant crafted with local produce, it’s the perfect spot for the best of both worlds, if you’ve missed the up scale pub atmosphere and want to go for a lovely meal choose a happy medium in Cork!

Kerry

J.M. Reidy’s

This spot in Killarney is very popular, If you’re trying to go for brunch you’ll have to be up very early as there’s often a queue and a long wait. But worth it of course, they also do a gorgeous looking dinner menu, so if you don’t make it earlier in the day try visit in the evening. How yummy does this look?!
