In the aftermath of her wedding split announcement with Brian McFadden last week, model Vogue Williams put on a brave face to the world, acting normal by updating her blog as usual with glitzy events she had attended and posting to Instagram about her fitness regime and fun nights out.
But underneath the bubbly and upbeat persona, the 29-year-old DJ was of course suffering heartbreak from the failure of her three-year marriage to the former Westlife star.
The Bear Grylls: Mission Survive star has opened up about her difficult week in her column for the Sunday World newspaper, crediting the support from loved ones for helping her through.
“This has been a really tough week for Brian and I,” she admitted. “The support we’ve been getting from people online has been amazing. Seeing everyone’s kind words has really made a difference in this hard time.
“We both have great families and friends that are being really supportive too.”
And although they have decided to part ways, the couple, who wed in 2012 following a whirlwind romance, have insisted that they will “remain friends” – Brian even collected Vogue from the ITV summer party in Notting Hill she attended just two days after their shock announcement.
“I don’t want to say too much on the subject, but I will say that we really do remain friends and will always be in each others’ lives,” the former Fade Street star commented.

However, after her honest admission that she has struggled in the split aftermath, it appears that it’s business as usual for Vogue, who will continue to put on her brave face.
Last night she posted some snaps of her and a pal posing and having a laugh at Ladies Day in Dundalk, while this morning she uploaded a new blog post, all about her fun trip with Nadia Forde and clothing brand Lipsy in Ibiza recently.
Meanwhile, Brian has been posting to his social media too, and it seems like he’s also trying to take his mind off the break up – by hanging out with Pussycat Doll Kimberly Wyatt and X Factor star Rebecca Ferguson.
The singer also posted a selfie with music mogul Louis Walsh, who recently spoke about the pair’s split, saying “that when a marriage isn’t working then it’s better to call it quits.”
