Maria Walsh recently confirmed that she was off the market and now the Dubliner has revealed her delight at finally being able to tell people she’s very happily in a relationship.
The former Rose of Tralee has been seeing Irish documentary director Shauna Keogh for quite some time now, and the the pair are happier than ever.
Speaking on 2FM’s Breakfast Republic, she said, “Love life is great! Gone are the days when lovely folks would say, ‘Are you still single?’ Now I can actually say, ‘No, no, I’m in a relationship now’ – at long last! But, yeah we’re doing well.”
Maria went on to say, “We actually met one of the last day’s of the [Rose of Tralee] festival last year through a mutual friend, but I was doing the toy show for TV3 and she was working in TV3 at the time and we kind of started hanging out, and having coffees, and it blossomed from there.”
While she’s very, very loved up, Maria did insist that a wedding certainly isn’t on the cards just yet: “One day I would hope to, in the very far, far future.”
