Kian Egan and Jodie Albert have become parents again this morning – and in a twist of fate, Jodi gave birth on the same day as her beloved late mum’s birthday.
The loved-up couple annouced the birth of their new baby boy on Facebook earlier, and similar to his 3-year-old brother Koa, he has an unusual name – Zeke!
Posting on his profile, Kian wrote: “Koa got his wish when his baby brother Zeke was born this morning at 7.49am weighing 7lb 13oz.”
“Sharing the same birthday as Jodi’s mum Eileen, the 21st of May. Both Jodi and Zeke are doing great.
“We are all so happy and so in love with him x,” he added.
Jodi spoke out recently about her heartbreak over her mother Eileen passing away in February after a battle with cancer.
The 31-year-old also previously told how she fears being hit with postnatal depression for a second time.
Jodi spoke to the Irish Sunday Mirror about her experiences with baby blues, and while she fears it could return, she believes she will be better prepared this time.
She also announced plans to release a book – the Furry Door – which is intended to encourage other sufferers to seek help
