Irish women have come together in a short video promoting the repeal of the 8th amendment. There are some familiar faces in the powerful video, including former Love/Hate star Aiobhinn McGinnity and Raw actress, Charlene McKenna.

The video is called We Face This Land, and it’s inspired by a poem written by novelist Sarah Maria Griffin called Not Lost, Spare and Found Parts. It’s read aloud by over 30 women in the two minute long vid.

Many regular women have vocalised their stance on the Repeal the 8th Movement, as have a number of Irish stars. A number of them appear in this new short, directed by IFTA award winning Dave Tynan.

Comedian Tara Flynn, actress’ Charlene McKenna and Seána Kerslake, journalists Róisín Ingle and Una Mullaly, Senator Lynn Ruane and her daughter Jordanne Jones, among others.
