Brendan O’Carroll and his family have made a very generous donation to St Vincent de Paul.
The Mrs. Brown’s Boys star has given a sizeable donation to the charity, which will allow them to give 2800 people around Ireland a Christmas meal this year.
His money will be used to provide meals for those in need in counties Dublin, Kildare and Wicklow.
President of the SVP East Region Liam Casey said that they’ve dealt with 65,000 calls this year, and Brendan’s money will be a big help.
“We have seen an increase in requests for food this year and these vouchers will make a huge difference to many families,” he said.
